■What is the Web Assessment Feature?

The Web Assessment feature automatically analyzes publicly available information about cloud services to estimate their security posture.

Using a cloud service's URL, Assured's system automatically collects and analyzes public data. Each cloud service receives a score out of 100, and you can visualize their security measures across five categories: Application, Network, Domain, Communication Path, and Email.

Please note: The security status, scores, and other evaluations displayed in the Web Assessment are based on Assured's independent analysis and may not always reflect the absolute latest information. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this content.

■How Information is Collected

Assured's system automatically gathers information for cloud services. Our requests (e.g., HTTP) are made within common parameters to publicly accessible servers on the internet. We do not engage in aggressive scanning, such as attempting to bypass authentication or performing port scans.

Information is also collected from third-party data sources. For more details, please see:

■About Scoring

The Web Assessment feature scores cloud services based on their estimated security posture, generally using an additive method to reach a maximum of 100 points. Scores are weighted by the importance of each security item.

■Information for Cloud Service Providers
