Assured will update some of the questions in our security assessments, affected by September 8, 2023.

We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience to our users.

Context of the Revision

  • Revision to compliance with FISC Security Guidelines on Computer Systems for Financial Institutions (11th Edition).

  • Inclusion of supplementary inquiries on Encryption, Encryption Key, and Backup Management.

  • Additional updates to certain questions and supplemental explanations for enhancing the lucidity of answer choices intent.

Important notes on changes and actions required for the revised questions

  • If you are in the process of completing the security assessments, you might need to (re)answer with any questions that have been updated, changed or added due to the revision before you can submit the answers for review.

    Please respond to the revised and changed questions before requesting a review.

  • If you have already completed the security assessment (including our reviewing process), there is no need to redo the security assessment. However, if you receive a new assessment request, you will be required to complete all of the questions necessary for the new assessment before submitting them for our review.

  • Regarding past submissions, the responses with corresponding questions at the time of submission will be visible in client users’ accounts and within our review system. (Including the assessments that are shared using the sharing feature)
